I'd say 16 of 30 is about right. I think it might bounce up a few places by this time next yr.-11th or 12th maybe.

2001: 27

2002: 29

2003: 30

2004: 19

2005: 25

2006: 12

2007: (not sure, but I recall it was below 12 and still in the middle third I think)

2008: 16

So really we've been treading water for a while here.

I think we will bump up a few soon once Wieters, Rowell, Snyder start showing their 1st round abilities and not to mention we have another top 5 pick on the way. And after this year, probably another top 5 pick.

Also, throw in the prospects that we can get if the Bedard/Roberts trades ever goes down. We should be firmly in the top 10 in a bout 2 years.

That is an acomplishment when one considers the picks we've given away recently.
