Huston Street just cost the Angels 4 prospects. I'd rather stay away from trading for a reliever who will likely pitch around 30 innings the rest of the year.

I just want a rental. Maybe with a big salary.

On pace for his option to vest.

His option vests with 55 games finished next year or 100 games finished between this year and next year. He is on pace for 52 games finished this year. It would be a fairly easy option to avoid. That said, with his limited no trade clause, he could agree to waiving the NTC in exchange for having the option picked up now.

Especially if you trade him next year. To someone who would use him in setup. Also, if the right match-up is in place, we could use the guy we have been giving the save opportunities to as well. Papelbon would be a mercenary. On a contending team. He'd be happy enough.

Yep, unless Buck names him the closer and uses him like he uses closers. Johnson had 63 GF in both 2012 and 2013.

O's have a lot more save opps then the Phillies.
