It's not what Gasman did before he gave up the walks and the runs that makes me think he's got TOR stuff... It's what he has done since then. Very impressive recovery. This is a 23-year-old young man. Throwing 100 mph. Keeping it together under extreme duress (including striking out Mike Trout in a jam situation). Could not be more impressed - win or lose, great game by KG.

It's crazy how toothless this Angels offense has been since the break. They remind me of a football team that wishes there was no half-time because they are rolling through the first two quarters.

According to the pitch track thingy ... that called 3rd strike was EXACTLY where Gausman's non-3rd strike was in the big inning.

Overall a hell of a performance from gausman. Unhittable 6 of 7 IP.

7 complete innings on 96 pitches and only 3ER against the 2nd best team in all of baseball. Cant expect too much more from a rookie.

He could make a run for rookie of year. (Or does he not qualify?)

He does (by one inning) but he won't win.

With Tanaka hurt the big cuban in Chicago has it sewn up.
