Just throwing this out for discussion purposes. Is there ANY chance Davis is left off the playoff roster if he doesn't turn things around?

But Davis is actually walking at the highest rate per plate appearance of his career this season, which is why his O.B.P. is more than 100 points higher than is his horrid batting average.

Pitchers still nervous about last year's Davis pitching him too fine at times, but the word has likely gotten around. I would not be surprised to see that stat decline in second half.
