Were We Interested In Obtaining Gordon, Kendrick or Altuve?

Well!! Gordon was traded to the Marlins today. Maybe he will end up here in a big Chris Davis deal. The Marlins are interested in trading for Davis. Tonight Howie Kendrick was traded even up for pitching prospect Andrew Heaney obtained in the Gordon deal today. A Chen for Kendrick deal was discussed recently. Heaney for Kendrick? Is DD sleeping in his suite or doing nothing to get back at PA for not letting him go to Toronto? No mention of Altuve in any rumors. DD said they were leaving at 1 PM today (Thursday) and supposedly adding several players. We know one will be a rule 5 player because that's his specialty. The other will probably be re-signing Delmon Young. Is it worth staying up late tonight? It's only 10 PM in San Diego so he could still make a deal or two tonight. The Dodgers seem to have all of the GM's phone numbers in their cell phones. What is DD waiting for?

Just read the Dodgers tried to get the DP combo from the Phils today but couldn't complete a Chase Utley trade so they traded for Kendrick. Will they flip Kendrick later for Utley? Is DD talking to the Phils about Utley? Is that why they didn't deal him to the Dodgers?

First off

Altuve - Never on the market

Gordon- Did you wanna give up 1 of the big 3 to get him?

Kendrick- Is a 1 year rental not worth one of the big 3

Altuve isnt going anywhere, Houston wants to sell tickets and be relevant, so i'm. Not sure hwy it matters if the Os were interested.

Dee Gordon is a sell high player who was an afterthought even for the Dodgers last April until he had his big breakout season last year. While i feel he could have been a good fit, DD was not going to give up an elite prospect or two for a guy with still questionable batting skills

Kendrick, i have to believe the Os have had interest in, if for no other reason then they have in the past during multiple time periods.

Why would Philly want Kendrick?

I doubt DD is talking about Utley.

We didn't show any interest in Trout. Trout is awesome. What the heck is wrong with us!!!!! Trout, Stanton, Altuve. Anything less shows this organization doesn't know what it's doing!!!!
