Yes I agree but at some point you worry that this swing at the first pitch philosophy (like last year) is here to stay.

Nah, not really. If I see things like this throughout April and into May, then I may get concerned.

We never know what players are working on in ST. Some pitchers are focusing solely on one pitch; some batters may be manipulating/adjusting their swing and they can't do that with the bat on their shoulders. Just my 2 cents.
