Looks like they'll let him go for it, he's doing stretches in the dugout while the Giants are batting in the top of the 9th.

If Snell could get the first two batters, it would come down to Elly De La Cruz.

Blake Snell is 32 years old and that was the first time he EVER THREW A PITCH IN THE 9TH INNING OF A GAME.

That is wild for me to think about, but that's probably common nowadays.  I can't imagine a pitcher in the 90's being in the conversation for best in baseball who didn't pitch into the 9th on occasion, now it's like you're risking Tommy John surgery every time you do it.

Watching a real pitcher's battle between the Giants and Braves.  0-0 through six complete.   Snell has another no-hitter going,  Sale has given up 2 hits.
