Payton has no chance against Shields for sure. I'm not sure AJ would have any chance either though. The guy is tough for hitters susceptible to change ups and sliders.

Right, but Jones would at least be up at the plate and see what Shields is throwing. I imagine it's a litte different watching from the bench vs. at the plate. Hopefully Trembley gives Jones a chance vs a tough RHP at some point.

I'm sure he will. I don't think it's that unreasonable to bench him against Shields 10 games into the season.

This is our inning here with the top of the order up.

I think we already had our inning back in the first. We were lucky to touch up Shields for 4. Now it's just a matter of holding on until we can get into the Tampa pen...
