Mexico just beat Venezuela for the Caribbean Championship.

Dariel played for Venezuela in the playoff series going 11 for 24 for a .458 batting average. He had a double and a triple. He played left field in one of the games but mostly DHed. His line in the Series was 458/480/583/1063.

I don't see were he played in any winter league games before the CaribbeanWinter League Playoff games.

Incredible that Eddie Gamboa was the winning pitcher in that game. I so badly wanted him to succeed as a knuckler in our organization.

The Rays picked him up and even signed on Charlie Haeger, a former knuckleballer, probably to help Eddie develop his even more.

How many walks did he have ....he won't hit 458 in the majors. He will be lucky to hit .280 and he never walks. He is a AAAA player....book it!
