I was confused by that as well. Houston is a big city but it seems that they don't even support their current team well.

How many games will we play though is the question. City wise, Montreal deserves a team, Portland could be good, Vegas is almost a guarantee at this point, and maybe somewhere like Charlotte would be good.

A 162 game season market place. Not just a triple A fanbase. Meaning No Charlotte, No Portland, No Oklahoma City. No Vancouver. No Prince George's County.

I think it was my error in transcription. Austin is the 11th-most populous city in the United States. Would make sense. California has four teams.
