He’s got to lead the team in 425+ foot homers, even though Santander and Gunnar have hit many more homers this year. -
If it doesn't happen, it means he had a setback in his recovery. My only concern with Grod in the pen is the last time he had mechanical issues initally when he came back from his lat injury. I'd really like to see him pitch a few times before a playoff game, but not sure they will have time. -
Kremer is one of these guys who gets dismissed by a lot of people, but will probably get something like 4/$80 mm when he hits free agency if he stays healthy.

Ah yes, the afterglow of an Orioles win against the Yankees. It was a hell of a shot regardless of its overall importance. I do believe it gave this team the breathing room it needed, especially when it knew Soto/Dominguez were going to have to close it out. Cowser's hitting style leads to some uncomfortable PAs, especially against changeups, but good Lord, when he gets ahold of one they are fun to watch. The height and distance of that one certainly fits the majestic description.

Let's go for 8. If his teammates set him up in the ALWC, he would perhaps start twice in the ALDS. I'm curious to see if they give him an inning or two in Minnesota. Next week Thursday Game 3 would be 8-9 days rest. I'm not sure if SIGBOT would counsel using that extra rest to be ready tho throw the zippiest fastballs you've ever thrown, or have an extra game to keep your touch. It might be beneficial for several of Povich, Suarez or even Kremer to have a relief appearance so they've experienced it in case Jacob Webb is an ALWC Game 3 opener or anything like that. Nestor and Stroman on the other side have already done so. -

Someone needs to print shirts which I will buy with Ryan O’Hearn’s celebration quote: “Shit happens #2024Orioles”. I’ll happily wear it to the first playoff game!!!
