If Johnson has a quick one inning here it could simply serve as his side session. Otherwise, PLEASE GOD LET IT BE ALBERS! Trachsel needs MORE time between starts not less and Burres is just too slight of build to pitch on short rest.

I think Johnson is in the game as long as it is tied, if we take the lead of course Sherrill. Let's get some runs here. They could always bring someone else up from the minors for one start as well.

I said it to myself before he came in, I just didn't post it. Johnson has a nasty sinking fastball and can strike people out. Bradfords actual ERA may be low but he gave up a lot of inherited runs last year on those seeing eye singles. He's not the clutch DP guy he used to be...
