It’s really odd. Every year, there are some whipping boys and this year 2 of them, Urias and McKenna, don’t play much..so it’s really odd to even care so much about their role. -

Gunnar embraced baseball full time earlier than Lofton did, but watching Gunnar now I wonder if he could have been Kenny Lofton or Ben McDonald or Pat Connaughton good at basketball if he kept at it. -
So far this year Stowers splits are even. He’s hitting .205 off of LHP and .244 overall.

Because that seems to be a bit much for the 26th man on the roster. I get it, McKenna isn't a great player and no one should get it twisted that I think he is. I just happen to think that the difference between him and Hays isn't a wide gap at this point in time. But my goodness, the way some of you hate on McKenna, it's almost personal or something. It's really weird to be so angsty towards a player who doesn't get much playing time and probably won't be on the team that much longer. -
Ok. But the chances of Mayo playing 3B for the Orioles seem less than 50%. As far as 1B neither look good to me. As far as RF we know Kjerstad is probably average at best, maybe below average too. We know Mayo has a great arm but he might be slower than Kjerstad, get worse jumps than Kjerstad, and take worse routes. We really have no idea.
