Isn't the appropriate context that almost all relievers in almost all seasons are less valuable than the best starters? So it's natural that someone who isn't the best pitcher isn't usually going to win the award for best pitcher.

If the Orioles think he is more valuable than the best starter in the league do they expect him to be paid like that? Jiminez is getting paid 13.5 million a year and he is pretty bad starter.
