I came here to post this. We should be all over Castillo tonight and do everything reasonable to sign him.

So let's talk Ben Revere.

5"9" 175 lbs

Service Time: 5.149 years

Pros: Left-handed hitter, Hits 300 most years, Has speed., Can steal 30 bases a season and he will only be 29 next year.

Cons: One of the weakest arms in baseball,  Definitely not a right fielder,  He doesn't walk much which limits his OBP.

Injuries:  Missed 67 games in 2013 with a broken foot; Missed 27 games in 2016 with a strain oblique.

Made 4.1M last year.

I don't know, he rates very poorly as a pitch framer and sequencer.

I tend to agree with you. We could do significantly worse than Castillo. Wonder what it'll take to sign him; bet there are a few other teams thinking like we are.

Ross barely pitched in '16 has some shoulder issues.
