McKenna has the skills to be a useful bench player--he can hit lefties, he can run and he can field at all 3 OF positions. He's gone from Baltimore mostly because we have too much talent coming up that needs to play, and he's the one who was squeezed out. He does seem to be prone to lapses in attention; if he is able to address that he will have a longer, more stable career in MLB. -
Did Davis get one? He must of. If we survived that, I'm sure we can survive a McKenna appreciation thread. -

I was thinking this last night as well. His numbers are eye-popping right now. Tony's write-up on him over the winter makes him sound like Steve Pearce with SB ability, though Cook actually has reverse splits in the minors. One knock against him is that he's vastly outperforming his batted ball metrics according to Statcast. .411 wOBA vs .335 xwOBA and the lowest EV (85.7) of Norfolk's starters. So my guess is he's just on a heater right now, but he has some potential to be a bench guy in the future. Worth keeping an eye on. Norfolk Statcast Data -

They've definitely altered his playing time. I'm hoping that he is just slumping and he'll get it going because he's the better defensive CF'er compared to any of the other options. -

I think Mayo would have been in the plans this summer before the rib injury. If he’s back to 100% during the summer great, but we might not be seeing him until 2025 in an Orioles uniform. -

Because Roy Firestone thinks we're an inch from franchise doom no matter how well the team is doing. It's incredibly tiresome. -
