But if Kim is just insurance for Mancini (and I am not opposed to that), they also have Bourn for that. And Pedro. Plus Santander and the minor leaguers. If Kim is not going to be used on a regular basis, might as well trade him for a bag of balls or send him back to Korea. I would love to see Kim play more, but they signed Trumbo and brought in Seth Smith. Right now the roster spot is worth more than Kim. That was the signal Buck was sending by bringing in Nuno for the 8th of a tie game.

I think it's very likely Mancini comes back to earth and settles I to a platoon with Kim.
