The 6  to 10 pitchers he acquires are at different levels.  Aquino, Ynoa, Verrett, Asher, Jed Bradley, McGough, Michael Zouzalik, Liranzo, Bleier, Castro, Lee, Gunkel, Garcia to name a few.

The Rockies only have $10,000 in bonus money available, so even if they got all of the O's $660,000 it wouldn't be enough to make them contenders for Otani - unless they could trade for more elsewhere.

Low 90's fastball, heavy sink. Slider. Has a good GB% rate. Seems like he is ticketed to AAA. We have a group of guys in Hess, Means, Barker, that all haven't been able to make it out of AA. Looks like this guy is in that same mold. 

Only walked 21 in 109 IP last year in AA, but only struck out 79.  Maybe his sinker could play up out of the pen?

I don't know. I was just saying that DD can't use the slot money on international signings. It's not like it's his choice.

He did pitch in the Eastern League last year. He had three appearances vs Bowie. Maybe our scouts liked something.

Looks like he was pretty dominant in two relief outings against a good hitting Bowie team. 

I certainly hope they are not using sample sizes of 10.1 innings to make personnel decisions.
