Let's guess the bullpen

For this exercise, let's say 4 SP (Cobb, Cashner, Bundy, Hess) and 8-man 'pen to start the season. If my math is off there, let me know.

Super-Locks
Givens
Bleier
Karns
Castro

Near-Locks
Fry
Wright (possible 5th SP)

Final Two
Scott
Rogers (possible 5th SP)

Odds are, one of these will be a waiver claim guy who can start games, but just for fun.

Who you got? I've got 5 lefties which is definitely weird.

I regret to inform everyone the thread has been dunked on and is now closed.

I agree with your locks.  I'll be interested to see if Karns can last a full season, injury free.  If Wright is on the team, I will flip out.

Curious to see if Bleier can still be effective without striking anyone out.

I think we are going to see a lot of people pass through the bullpen this year.

Evan Phillips has been lights out. In another thread you said you saw Arajuo making the team. Hmm?????

Great thread & post. I think this is spot on. The most precarious spot is probably Scott (pretty sure he has options).

I'm subbing out Scott for Araujo for 17 days.

Agree Karns could possibly be held back to stretch out but I still think he's a lock.

Wright and Rogers are vulnerable if there's a waiver claim SP or something.
