You actually can, a few years ago, if my memory serves me correctly

Didnt we have a delay of game 1 to the point, we had to resedule it for another date and the remake for Game 2 happen before Game 1.

There was also an issue with the lineup, as one of the players in game 1 wasnt on the team with it came to the makeup date.

Didn't we have a delay of game 1 to the point, we had to reschedule it for another date and the remake for Game 2 happen before Game 1.

You still have to win one game before you win 2 games, regardless of whether or not the first game is suspended and completed at a later date.

If the Orioles had lost the game that started and ended prior to the finish of the game that was originally started at an earlier date, they could not have won 2 games. So you cannot win 2 games until you win the first game, regardless of the order in which they are referred to on the schedule. If Game Two ends before Game One and you lose said game, you cannot win 2 games.

 I was just this morning thinking about the all time lineup of guys who truly enjoyed playing the game, who just loved it, would play it all day and who were able to transmit that joy to the fans. 

 Ernie Banks was the first name I came up with, followed by Jim Thome and Adrian Beltre, maybe Ken Griffey Junior, Tony Gwynn, and Kirby Puckett. How do you feel about those guys, and who would you add?
