That particular play was more on Nunez but Villar had such a lazy play the inning before on a routine ground ball.

Grant Brisbee Wrote a brilliant article about what I think he called the worst baseball play of all time: It’s About the Astros, and how they were embarrassingly bad. The play in question, was from 2010 or 2011 and included Steve Pearce, who remains one of my favorites.

It was my hope that the team would be able to do avoid that level of embarrassment.

I remember the Orioles committed three errors on one play in Tampa a while back, I think during the Perlozzo or Trembley era. And they still ended up winning the game, IIRC.

The Orioles also won the game in which Brooks Robinson committed 3 errors in one inning, in July of 1971.

What a horrendous call by the umpire, that ball was no where close to being a strike.

How was that a strike? It was low and inside.
