Just a complete guess on my part, but depending on where he geographically is resting and recovering from mono, I think that determines where he begins. I’d venture to say they are watching over him in Sarasota. If that is true, might make sense to have him play a game or two in the GCL first. Again, could be wrong, but logically makes sense.

GCL was off yesterday, plays today and tomorrow, and off Sunday. Aberdeen returns home Monday. I wouldn't be surprised if he debuts and plays today and tomorrow for GCL, flies up to Baltimore Sunday, and starts with Aberdeen Monday... maybe?
