Buck back with the Yankees?

A friend of mine sent me this story. Many have thought about him doing TV work.

If Buck works out as an announcer, maybe YES could then hire Ubaldo. Then Buck could go to Ubaldo instead of the regular YES guys in critical situations.

Good for Buck.  I hope it works out for him.    I will always be grateful to him for being a major part of saving us from wandering in the wilderness for more  than 14 years.

Given how Buck managed against the Yankees (thinking primarily about Jeter’s last home game in NY), I doubt he ever fully left them behind.

Buck managed the Orioles for 8 full seasons. The Orioles went 3-4-1 in yearly series against the Yanks under Buck. I didn't look it up, but that's probably the best eight year run by the Orioles against the Yankees in 30+ years. I know you were mainly just razzing, but Buck's teams played the Yanks pretty hard.

From about 84 until Buck got here I think we only won the season  series like twice. I think in 89 and 97. I’ll try to look it up.
