I don't understand the David Lebron selection

They have spots for another pitcher and an outfielder.

I wasn't sure which board this information was better suited for.

I don't understand Lebron being there.

Sometimes the player just sends a guy to eat some innings for the team.

Maybe they see something behind the top line results.

Just filling a spot, I suppose.   

I’m a bit surprised to see Wells on the roster.  Despite having started his season a couple of weeks late due to a lat strain, he’ll finish the season at 130+ innings.   I would have thought that would be enough for the year.

Could this be a sign that Hays will be promoted to Baltimore in September?  I expected to see him on this roster otherwise, given the time he has missed.

I'd be interested to see Sedlock and Diaz there, or give McKenna more AB's.

Per Roch, the Orioles will NOT be calling Diaz up in September. 

Have to believe that makes him the choice for Arizona.

Maybe Gray Fenter will be the other pitcher? Rule 5 eligible, could be a "show us what you can do" experience.

Fenter would be a good one. Would be nice to see if he could skip Frederick.

Maybe the O's thought it was Lebron James.

The recent interview with Buck Britton suggested  Diaz May still be a little banged up. The Orioles May want him to get healthy and work on a conditioning program for his legs. Just thinking out loud.
