I’m out of the booth due to a rare infection in my spinal column caused by the Shingles virus. VERY thankful for O’s team docs and trainers who told me to get an MRI ASAP...showed Myelitis. I’m still watching O’s and tweeting with you!!!! #shinglesnightmare

Hope Jim is feeling better soon.   And if you are older than 50 get the newer Shingrex vaccine against shingles given in two doses rather than the older vaccine

Shingrix was so popular when it came out that they quickly ran out and it was unavailable in the Tampa Bay area for months. I can't take any vaccines with live cultures, so I've had to wait.

I’ve never taken a shingles vaccine or a flu shot.    But I did get all my childhood shots, tetanus, etc.
