Poor guy LOL.  I actually hated and still hate most crab cakes throughout my 30 year life.  Turns out I just needed to eat them from the right places (Jimmy's and Box Hill).

My wife is partial to G&M. She did get a really good one at Dempseys a few years ago, when we stopped in there before a game.

It was a beautiful day in Northern Harford County yesterday.  Figured it was a great day to get my 2 year old daughter and newborn outside.  The Jarrettsville Vol. Fire Company holds a "Hump Day" food truck day every Wednesday.  Jimmy's is quite far away from where I live. So, what an opportunity to eat one of the better crab cakes in the Baltimore region and only travel 20 mins! It's really a win win for everyone.  My wife and daughters get to spend time outside and socialize with others safely.  I'm supporting local, small businesses and the volunteer fire company.  I also just smoked three racks of ribs the other weekend.  Paired that with some smoked macaroni and cheese.  I would say may cooking skills are above average.  Not elite, but not poor.  If I had to rate myself on a scale of 1-10, 1 being microwave meals and 10 being Bobby Flay, I'd give myself a 6.37.  Hope this helps.

I just figured that if you knew how to cook then your own crab cakes would be better is all.

Also, making crabcakes is a pretty time consuming process if you are picking the crab meat yourself.  Why waste my time when I can spend $20 on a crabcake and have it in my mouth in 12 mins?

I only make them after steaming crabs, I pick the leftovers.

      To say Mayo is more major league ready than Holliday is a stretch.  Based on what?  36 AB's at the major league level for Holliday?  Mayo may or may not have the same struggles up here as Holliday, Gunnar Henderson, Nick Markakis, or Cal Ripken did.  Maybe he won’t either but no one here knows even if they have watched every one of Mayo’s at bats.  This team is 23-11 so the people making the decisions are doing a pretty good job.  Fans always want the shiny new potential player over the seasoned veterans but the baseball people seem to value whatever the intangibles that players like Mateo, Urias, McKenna, etc bring to a 26 man squad.  I would agree more with the shiny new player on a team that isn’t having success.  That is not this team.

      Weird but as @eddie83 mentioned, the two off days is just an odd consequence of the 2x2 structure of facing your assigned interleague rival. Looking at some other teams' schedules, the Mets have a similar situation later this year around two Yankees games, the Giants have a similar situation around two Athletics games, etc. Some teams have an oddity the O's don't which is a Sunday off-day after a Fri/Sat two game series with their regional rival.

      As long as you have the right amount each of 2 and 4 series, you’re still good.  Two and four is the same as 3 and 3.    Wont happen anyway but I would love it if it did.

      Agree with the premise of the OP. Holliday should be converted to CF because Westburg is a good defender at both 2B and 3B. Holliday is average at 2B at best.  As it stands right now, Holliday doesn't have a place on the major league team this season because Mayo is more major league ready, and the team needs another righty bat to balance the lineup. It's simply not sustainable to keep trotting out Mateo and McKenna, no matter how hot or lucky they are right now against LHP.  It's in Holliday's best interests to learn and start playing CF as well because CF is a much more premium defensive position, and a glamor position when it comes to his first free agent contract/extension.  If future Hall of Famer Mookie Betts can move around the diamond to accomodate his team and win games, so can Holliday. I'm not saying Holliday is a future Hall of Famer, but there's no excuse for not converting him to a new position that will help the team.
