I get asked a lot (I live in NY Metro area) by Yankees fans what it is like being an Orioles fan. I do not give them the satisfaction of saying it can SUCK !!!!!!! . But for years I have sometimes felt that a certain Allman Brothers song describes it PERFECTLY >>>>>>> (Tied to the Whipping Post ) >>>>>

For many years, the Orioles were the only team with a winning record versus the Yankees. That changed in the 1990s. 

Rooting for the Yankers is like rooting for the Harlem Globetrotters. The all-white version, that is.
