The Jays sure seem to be going for it would think Yankees have to counter though nit sure what place you finish makes big difference this year.  The top 8 seam set in American League so is jockey for position matter.

Well,  Conine looks like he is a better prospect than Lucas so thats a solid loss in the trade column on the Villar trade.

Realistically we’re not ready to “compete” over a 162 game season. So that rules out 2021. We should unload Cobb, Isglesias, Castro, and Fry, for pieces for 2022+. 
 

Keep getting SP and IF depth.

Yes, but you have opportunities to trade them in the offseason and the 2021 deadline, so not necessary to shed them now if you don't get an adequate return.
