What exactly do the Orioles or anyone else see in this guy?  He's the pitching equivalent of Johnnie LeMaster or Luis Pujols.

So, a it turns out Lopez is not a ML starter.

I feel like by now when he's extended beyond once through the order it is the org's fault, not his.   Even today's play by play looks like an HBP and 2 infield singles to first nine.   I had posted his Times Facing Opponent the other day, but was curious about some others for comparison's sake.   These are OPS's yielded as SP - Wojo is the one he's like.   Other recent Orioles are better pitchers, or lefty soft tossers guys seem happy to see straightaway.

For a young bullpen this guy just not the starter this team needs.  Maybe start him after a two inning opener.

I actually forgot about him.  I'd rather see Lopez than him.  Pretty sure I'd rather see Mike DeJean before Mike Wright.

Put him in the pen.  Its the only place he can go where he has a chance of having a decent career.  Its ridiculous that the organization doesn't see this.

The organization probably does see it.

They aren't going to alter their long term plans because of it.

Tbf Mike Wright did WAY better in the minors.  Perhaps that was our first clue.
