Waiting for Philip to post that he would have had "someone" up to start the 3rd inning.

I’ve been working, but I did notice that Plutko started a clean inning. Yay.

Edit: I mistakenly read today’s box score as yesterday’s box score, and was confused why Plutko pitches two days in a row. That is incorrect, Plutko did not pitch yesterday, nor the day before.

He threw 10 pitches on the 19th and was rested and ready this afternoon.

Hyde is a pisspoor in-game manager. But I don't see him getting fired because Elias would have to admit he fucked up.

He’s on a three-year contract, it will probably expire and they will say, “thank you very much have a nice day.” And hire somebody else

But Plutko threw 43 pitches yesterday. Why in the world would Hyde bring him in at all?

What? Plutko hasn’t pitched since Wednesday.

Actually Plutko did NOT pitch yesterday. Armstrong and Wells relieved Lopez.

DJ Stewart's at bat in the 8th illustrates why I don't think he is going to make it as a major league player.  Hudson challenged him with consecutive 98 MPH fastballs in the middle of the strike zone.  Good velocity, but not particularly good movement or location.  Stewart couldn't even get a loud foul ball and struck out swinging.   Stewart has a good approach, but as Reggie Smith famously said, you can't survive in the majors (especially playing a bat-first position) if you can't hit the effing fastball.

Plutko did not put yesterday (except in Philip's imaginary world)

Plutko did not pitch Thursday.

Plutko threw 10 pitches Wednesday.

I now return you to Philip's imaginary game thread.  Enjoy.

Yes you are correct, I just edited my comment. I accidentally missed read today’s box score as yesterday’s box score, and then went back and looked. Last time he pitched was the 19th. I went and corrected it
