I know Severino is getting a guaranteed $1.8M, but who does he have pictures of to keep a spot on the roster. It's a legit argument that Sisco is a better defensive catcher this year. And while Sisco has gotten better defensively, it's more of an indictment on how poor Severino has been behind the plate.

40 man spot aside, I do wonder if this clears a path for Adley to Norfolk. They have already traded Taylor Davis and now got rid of Sisco.

Wow, I’m pretty shocked.   He’s really fallen from grace this year.   

I wonder if Rutschman gets promoted to Norfolk now.

I read somewhere that Diplan is playing for the Dominican team from the 22nd-26th (or something like that). I'm guessing that wouldn't cause a problem if the O's wanted him.
