Zach Jarrett....maybe?

So I figured it was worth it to start a thread on Zach Jarrett, who is playing CF most nights in Norfolk while OPSing north of 850. Former 28th round pick was old entering the system out of college (he’s 26 now), but maybe a guy who, had he not lost a year in 2020, would be considered a potential thing? Not sure if anyone who has seen him play has any strong opinions, or any thoughts on how he looks defensively in the outfield.

Recognize I’m probably reaching here, but a guy with that OPS at a premium defensive position in AAA at least deserves a mention....maybe?

Seems like he was a corner outfielder quite a bit in the lower minors. He's been a pretty good hitter, but I'd be surprised if he's more than a reserve.

He’s put together a solid season so far. Who Knows????  Maybe he becomes a Mason Williams 4A type.

Actually Zach is often spelled wrong.
