In no way do I think they would even consider signing Correa but they easily could and it would be extremely easy for them to pay him.

We got a possible closer in last year's rule 5. Fox is a utility infielder at best.

While he showed promise I wouldn't bet on him being an integral piece on the next playoff team.

Great…one (maybe two if you count Santander, I don’t) rule 5 pick out of the dozen or so in the last 5 years has been a success…and it’s still too early to even consider Wells a success. The rule 5 will make roster management difficult while also extremely unlikely to work out in the long run. I’d rather the player that can be sent down if need be.

Tyler Wells can be sent down it needed.  He has 3 options.

In the event of a long work stoppage I would think they want fewer people on 40 man rosters, so probably not until the CBA is agreed to.

Would be a great fit if you don't mind spending for declining production. Not like we have a shoe-in prospect for SS.
