I'm a No because I'd prefer to trade from our strength (position players) than from our need (pitchers). Offer a comparable hitting prospect for Max? Sure. -
Yeah, because our pitchers dominated that Cleveland lineup... I think the AL East is the best division in baseball, but I think you're most certainly overstating that difference. I don't think pitching in the AL East vs. pitching in another division is worth more than say, a quarter-half point of FIP (in truth, I doubt it's worth quite that much)...a half point of FIP on his current level and you see where he'd be, nearly as good as any of our starters. Anyways, as far as we can gleam anything from 34.2 IP, he had 14.1 IP and 9 ER vs AL East foes and 20.1 and 17 ER vs others, so yeah, with us he did better against AL East foes than others. -
It's against Seattle, so I'm expecting 5IP / 2ERs

Looks like we may match up well with Kansas City as they need help at 1b, 3b, LF, RF & DH (all positions where we have potential surplus) Maybe we do a 3 team deal where we get a quality prospect from KC and package them with our own prospects to get a Starter?

I understand and agree . Some posters are paranoid about rentals like Sherzer . They don’t care if his cost is lower than say , a Skubal or a Crochet. But let Elias worry about all that
