I like that they aren’t playing Rutschman at DH for game one. Let him take a rest before catching game two of the doubleheader.

I would have bet against Sedlock ever spending a day in the Majors.  His FIP is a decent 4.04 this year so the 5.83 ERA doesn’t tell the whole story.

He’s not exactly swinging a hot bat as of yet so makes sense.

Isn’t Lyles pitching game 1 though? Reyes game 2?

Sorry, I understood you correctly and I typed the wrong days!

I mean Sunday and MOnday too.   He will play both days, but maybe Chirinos catches one.

Well of course AR will be fine but no sense in burning him out when there are other options. Nottingham in AAA really swinging the bat well but no way he makes it up without an injury.

Yeah I would think Chirinos catches tomorrow since he caught the first game.  I'm fine with Adley and Chirinos splitting time at catcher now.  Let Adley focus more on adjusting to ML pitching.
