Why in the world would you call up a guy who couldn't even get AAA hitters out.

He owns an awful 8.26 ERA through 28.1 frames for Norfolk this season, but he could be needed to provide length behind opening pitcher Bryan Baker in Tuesday's game against the Mariners in what is shaping up to be a bullpen day for the Orioles.

Lowther obviously wasn't "ready" to pitch in the majors tonight.  He'd been poor all year.

Now I don't want to make this Lowther or Hall since I'd have Hall getting his work in from the bullpen.

But this idea that guys have to "be ready" or "earn it" is infuriating.

Because they aren’t ready to bring up the big boy and someone has to pitch.

Lowther is going to be DFA’d.  For those who harbored any idea that this team should be buyers ..see Detroit series and this disaster

you just hope it doesn’t bleed over into all the games like it did in Detroit.

Have to see who starts Sunday now. I may give Reyes another look.
