He is a Senior (I know Covid has muddled class years) reliever who previously pitched a year at Radford and a year at a Florida JuCo before pitching the last two years at Virginia Tech.

72/28 k/bb over 51 innings in 2022.

Steve Bumbry never got above AA, I believe.   We traded for a sidearm pitcher named Ben Rowen once, he pitched for Bowie and Norfolk but we released him a few months after we got him.

Following our most impressive season ever, pretty much, unless you think one of those years we put up a monster record against a fairly weak schedule, hitting in the Tech Park bandbox, with Franklin Stubbs, but got shunned by the NCAA selection committee was better.
