A major issue with the great play lately is the inability to get a large early lead.

Would not be surprised at all if that's the case.

It's the Rays MO year-in, year-out to have no-name pitchers do well, against all teams. They're third in the AL in ERA.

To be fair, Raley has only 33 ABs this year (only 99 career) and has shown a lot of power at AA and AAA levels.

I hope we can repeat last night's MO: Wells regains his balance and keeps them to these 3 runs over 5+ innings, the O's pen shuts down the Rays' not spectacular offense the rest of the way, and our hitters jump on the Rays 'pen.
