I think it was bold for him to cite Sevvy as a problem while he was here, but sort of a cheap shot this long after. For some unknown reason, his defense degenerated during his time with the Os . There were months when he was an important bat in the lineup--even batted clean-up some games.

It's one thing for your level of play to decline, it's another when it looks like your level of effort has declined.

He looked lazy back there a lot of the time.

I remember he hit three homers in one game in Houston.

Interesting note by Elias on Stowers. That yes he's a power hitter and with that comes some swing and miss, but that there's an approach to what he's doing. Contrast that to a guy like Mountcastle who came up in a different system and in my view is all over the place at the plate.

Your comment reads like Elias is crapping on Mountcastle and not you.

Ok the Rougned Odor experiment as the starting 2B needs to end with Gunnar on the team. He doesn't turn a double play that well to justify starting at 2B over Urias.

I think your correct with what we know.   But it seems that behind the scenes Odor is doing magical things making scared and unhappy boys into wonderful excited super great baseball men.   Or at least that is the propaganda being pumped out by Hyde.

I dont buy it.  I think Odor has done his job of playing until some of our prospects were ready.  I think several are more capable than Odor.   Not even thinking of Urias.  Westburg and Joey Ortiz could play second.   Both would likely hit more than Odor now also.
