Labor Day afternoon: Game 1 of the Orioles biggest doubleheader in decades

Were there two balls off of his glove or just one? There was a diving play early where maybe Odor/Urias are in better position. And there was the miscommunication with Mateo on a ball up the middle. And then the inability to turn a DP. Am I missing any? All in five innings. Maybe those balls don't turn into outs with Urias there, but it spells trouble for Gunnar being suited for the position right now.

Gunnar is not a bad fielder obviously. It's that he's learning a new position AND is adjusting to the bigs in general. Now is not the time. Let him play 3B.

Would love him at DH if Odor is at 2B. But not counting on it.

Berrios career splits:   .763 OPS vs LH, .675 OPS vs RH.   This year, .887 (!!) vs LH, .739 vs RH.

Gunnar will be in the lineup at 3rd.   Odor at 2nd.   Adley at DH.   Stowers probably in the lineup instead of Hays too.   Gotta get your LH bats vs Berrios.

Adley is 2-3 with a HR off Berrios, he'll most likely DH IMHO.

I thought of that too, but when things seem to make sense, does Hyde always make that move? I'll wait and see. Yet, for 3 games in 24 hours, Adley would have been DH, C, DH. Will Hyde rest him? Again, we'll see.
