Reminds me of Armando Benitez pitching against Tony Fernandez in Game 6 of the 1997 ALCS. Fernandez could not hit Benitez's fastball just barely being able to foul it off so Benitez eventually throws and off speed pitch that is hit for a home run ending the O's season.

He was tipping pitches.

Hyde has managed this game poorly.

He has done everything right.  Krehbal blew this in the 5th inning just like I said then it changed everything because we used our one late inning lefty to save us in the 5th.    That Alvarez Bergman Tucker part of the lineup was going to be trouble because we had to use Perez in the 5th.

This is mostly on Hyde for yanking his starter after 58 pitches and making his closer who was JUST sidelined a week ago for arm fatigue throw over 30 pitches and get a 5 out save.

If he had managed the 'pen better from the get go, he never would have put himself in that situation.

I hope they come back in the bottom. But this game is one of a series. I'm not going to dwell too much on the potential loss because we dominated the others. This has been a helluva game. You have to be happy that your team is competing with the best team in the league.
