84  Franchy Cordero

82  Daz Cameron

80  Cedric Mullins

61  Austin Hays

53  Ryan Mountcastle

48 Ryan O'Hearn

47  Adley Rutschman

43  Kyle Stowers

37  Adam Frazier

I knew Gunnar could run but I did not know he was that fast.

Some real suprises here...

- Gunnar so much ahead of Mullins?
- Mountcastle had been touted as faster but this seems more expected.
- Rutschman faster than Vavra? I thought Vavra was a speedster.
- Santander pretty low for RF!

You are surprised Santander wasn't faster?

I'm not, he looked very slow out there last year.

Agreed, he looks as slow as he is. I guess the surprise would be to see him remain a fixture out there if we have some speedier replacements in the OF pipeline. Love the bat, and I guess the arm is good, but more DH and perhaps 1B could be wise for him. Hays is slipping, too. Oh for the days of Finley-Anderson-Devereaux!

Mountcastle was down from 28.1 ft/sec (75th percentile) in 2021 to 27.5 (53rd) last year.

Tony had Vavra with 50 speed, Rutschman 45.  Fangraphs’ Longenhagen had it 55-40.   So you’re right, that’s a surprise.  We’ll see if it sticks.

Gunnar at 91 is kind of sneaky. I think we sleep on his athleticism because he was projected to not be here yet, and to be a 3B.
