Agreed….he’s not the same guy defensively who was up for a GG a couple years ago. As stated in another thread, Hays to RF and Cowser covering the spacious LF makes a lot of sense.

They go extremely heavy on the LHP splits.

But I think what they are doing in preparation for Game 2 is trying to let all the best friends who came up through the minor leagues together, play together.  (DL, Grayson, Gunnar, and Adley). I'm not sure if they will play Ortiz in game 2 or not. Your guess is as good as mine. I would imagine Frazier will play 2nd, in the 2nd game.

Safe to say that McCann and Adley are taking turns, as any catcher tandem does with a double header.

Should be a fun, long, eventful day.

I'm just glad to see that Hays is back in the lineup, and hopefully healthy.

Mateo 5th is interesting. Good to see Hays back. If we want to stack the lineup with RHB and no Adley, this is what we end up with.
