Imagine knowing you had a good young offensive talent and just needed to upgrade your pitching and you come out of the offseason with Gibson, Irvin and a hurt Givens and was like, "Good enough."

they are going to have to shake up this bullpen ahead of Givens coming back, can't wait that long.  If for no other reason then there's not going to be anybody available to pitch in Chicago.

I hope they skip Irvin in DC and put him in pen for a week and regroup. 2 off days help.
