The Orioles seem to have been dealt an exceptionally favorable (easy) April schedule. Looks like it doesn't start getting tough until next month, but even that starts out against the Royals who also stink.

We knew this going into the season.  And, we knew it would be important for the O’s to take advantage while they could.  So far, they’ve done just that.  Hopefully that continues.  Then we’ll see how they do when the schedule gets tougher.

As mentioned in the OP, ten games over .500 was our high water mark for the entire season last year.  Anything higher will be our highest since 2016.

Hard as it is to believe, the O's actually started 22-10 in 2017 before losing 13 of 16.

That was a completely different team, built with aging free agents. These guys in 2023 are hungry.
