All this was predictable. This is the starting pitching Elias (maybe with contraints imposed by ownership) put togeher, based on his assessment that to add better starters would be too expensive, whatever that means. The rotation is not strong, and it's not deep. I still am doubtful, despite the great record so far, that it can get a team to the post-season.

 

 

And it's worse actually than Elias probably predicted, if one looks at how poorly Irvin and Kremer have pitched and the Grayson mystery.
