Actually the stat they showed yesterday was that we score first less than most any team in baseball.

I think it was Mike Flanagan who used to say during the Orioles TV broadcast that if you are wild, aim at the middle of the plate and hope it doesn't end up there. Especially with a 3-run lead. What you can't do if you are wild is to try and paint the corners. Flanagan used to know a thing or two about pitching, you know.

It appears the Rays are better at framing low in the zone than the Orioles. They keep getting those calls.
