Cowser was bent over standing on 2nd after hte play fumbling to take off his wrist/sliding guard thing and it seemed like he flexed his arm oddly, or was having trouble getting it off, or something.   All while bent over, and you don't have to bend over to take the thing off.   Just looked odd.

Ok. I didn’t see that.

Maybe, but they just don't seem to do the basics. As another poster said, it is a reminder of the 2017 O's.

I do watch a lot of them just because they are on TV every night here, they are playing like a AAA team right now after trading nearly everyone with talent away. They aren't the A's level bad, though.

Got to be hard to stay focused after all your good players get traded away.

Over years of sports betting as a hobby, one thing I have learned is that when a team that everyone believes should be really good finally reaches the point where they are out of it, they often get REALLY bad, even below the level that would be dictated by their remaining talent.   And of course due to the team's reputation/name/star power they often are still treated by the odds as if they are good.   You can usually make some $ betting against teams like that in the 2nd half of a season.   Holds true in both MLB and NFL.

The Mets will play someone like Colorado and they will be favored to win because it still feels like they should be a better team with what they have left over.   Bet the team like Colorado each game as a + money underdog, win half and lose half... and walk away with a little profit.

I didn't have cable during the A's games. I'll say it differently...they are the worst team I've seen so far.
