Nevin can be “frustrated” all he wants, but that was mindnumbingly stupid of him to send Sandoval back out there. Guy’s pushing 100 pitches, been absolutely laboring the last couple innings, and you roll him back out to face two guys who are only in the lineup because they’re decent against LHPs? 

Obviously, you hate seeing him walk the 8 and 9 hitters. But it was painfully obvious to go to the pen for a righty reliever there, so you’ve really just got yourself to blame.

I don’t think anything makes me appreciate Hyde more than seeing some of the decisions other managers make to set their guys up for failure.

Hyde should have pulled Gibson before he gave up the 2R HR and we'd have a 5-0 lead.
