It wasn't above the pole, it was next to it.  The angle didn't change anything.

Apologies I was watching NESN on mlb tv. I think stands means inconclusive so if the call was the other way it would be 3-2.

This play illustrates my ire with the camera work.

The batter hits a solid line drive, and by the time the cameras switches to the action, Mount Castle has already caught the ball and stepped on first and the play is over. All we see is the umpire give out sign.

But if you camera were in a logical place, which it is not, everybody would’ve seen the entirety of the play.

From the replay I saw it was 100% foul and would have been overturned if called a HR.
